Privacy Notice
Effective October 17, 2026
Polyformation is an iPhone, iPad, and native Mac app from Elkwai Solutions, LLC for sprite animation and 3D asset creation. This notice describes the 1.2 release.
Projects and usage
Polyformation does not require an account. It does not send your projects, sprite frames, filenames, models, or usage analytics to a developer-operated service. The app does not include advertising or tracking SDKs. Imported assets, sprite vaults, projects, and exports are processed and stored on your device or in locations you choose through the system file picker.
On-device and local AI
Sprite pose sorting uses a model bundled with the app and runs on your device. On Mac, optional AI-assisted analysis may use Apple's on-device capabilities or a vision model you run in LM Studio on the same Mac. Polyformation limits its LM Studio connection to loopback addresses (127.0.0.1 or ::1). Selected frames and filenames can be sent to that local server, not to a cloud AI provider. LM Studio is separate software under your control and may have its own storage and logging settings. The iPhone and iPad app has no cloud-AI sorting connection.
Purchases and sharing
If you buy Polyformation Pro, Apple handles the App Store transaction. Polyformation verifies the purchase entitlement on your device; it does not run a developer-operated payment or account service. When you choose an export, share sheet, or external file location, that destination handles the data you send there under its own terms. Polyformation does not upload it automatically.
Deleting your data
You can remove local projects and vault files from their saved locations. On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app and its data removes its app container. On Mac, removing the app bundle alone does not remove its Application Support data. Files exported outside the app must be removed from their chosen destinations separately.
